“Do what you ought to, come what may!”

According to the tradition I ask all guests of my “Sever. True Stories” project to say their slogan of a rule of life. It was a surprise to know that Stas Mikhailov lives with the same slogan as I :  “Do what you ought to, come what may!”.

Moreover Stas shared a lesson from Boris Brunov (the Head of  Moscow State variety theater). When a little-known singer Mikhailov brought winner diplomas of different contests from Sochi, Boris Sergeevich told him: “You have to show what you can do, not these papers”. And Stas sang so well that he was immediately invited to participate in combined concerts.

Another participant of my project, that was filmed on the same day, was Baigali Serkebaev, the permanent producer of “A-Studio” band. He also shared his stories and it was revealed that the famous musician could have become a football player. In his childhood he showed initial skills of mastering the ball, but his elder brother told him: “No football! You’ll be a musician!”. Till now Baigali respects football as a fan. His favorite football club is “Kairat Almaty”
