On the eve of the World Cup finals, the Bolshoi Theater hosted a gala concert dedicated to the completion of the Mundial. On the historical scene – a historical event: world celebrities – opera and football! I could not miss such a unique event.
This evening turned out to be as bright as the championship itself. Anna Netrebko, Placido Domingo, Ildar Abdrazakov, Khibla Gerzmava, Yusif Eyvazov and other masters of opera art performed on the stage.
Among the guests of the concert there were many foreigners, the first persons of FIFA, the leaders of football associations and, of course, football legends.

The World Cup was filled with not only a sports program, but also cultural events. Concerts and various festivals were held at various venues of the cities participating in the World Cup. So, at the Moscow stadium “Spartak” or as it is now called “Otkritie Arena”, besides the Championship matches, the only concert in Russia of Guns N ’Roses was held.
I attended a concert that became part of the Not In This Lifetime world tour. In total, Guns N ’Roses planned to perform at 13 European stadiums and the modern Otkritie Arena complex was one of them.
For those who are not familiar with the work of the band Guns N ’Roses, I can say that their music is worthy of attention, only because of the album Appetite For Destruction has become the best-selling debut album in the United States in history. World circulation of which amounted to 30 million copies.
Now the group has 6 studio albums and it continues to remain one of the most influential groups in music history and amaze millions of fans around the world. Therefore, everyone who came to the Otkritie Arena on July 13 can say that they could see the only concert in Russia of the legendary group Guns N ’Roses and get extraordinary musical pleasure.
