Time passes really quickly!? It seems like yesterday we had the first shooting of “Sever. True Stories” project featuring Anita Tsoy. And now the 2016/2017 season is coming to the end. Grigory Leps and Timur Rodriguez were the guests of the final episode.
It was very comfortable to talk to Grisha, as I’m acquainted not only with him, but with his wife as well. But on the other hand it’s not so easy to develop the correct approach to the interview for the program as our spectators are interested in new facts – as for Leps, all seems to be well known. Anyway, I managed to “fish out” quite enough of curious information. It turned out to be that when Grigory used to sing in restaurants he also sang “Beliye Rosi” (“White roses”) from the repertory of “Laskoviy Mai”. Furthermore he promised to perform one day with this super-hit of the 80-s and made a remark: “I promise, you’ll like it!”. I also learnt that Grigory’s personal record of continuous singing is eight and a half hours!
As for Timur Rodriguez, at the program he learnt something new about himself! I was sure that he chose his alias taking into consideration the meaning of a popular Spanish family name. But Timur assued me that it was the first time when he heard that ”hrōd” stands for «popularity, fame, prominence», and “ rīc” stands for «power, might». Looks like his screen name was meant to be successful!
